Book Week

Book Week

We had an amazing time dressing up as our favourite book characters! From Detective Beans, Minions, and Gru to beloved characters from our class novel Wonder, creativity was on full display. The day was filled with excitement as everyone proudly showed off their costumes, bringing books to life in the most fun and colourful way!

Multiplication Strategies

Multiplication Strategies

Our students had a fantastic time taking their maths lesson outdoors! They worked on solving multiplication problems, exploring different strategies to find the most efficient one that suits them best. From using mental math to drawing arrays, each student enjoyed discovering their own approach while learning in the fresh air.

Volume and Capacity

Volume and Capacity

Year 6 really rolled with it when learning about volume, creating 1m³ cubes using nothing but newspaper! Armed with 12 rolled up paper rods and 12 joiners, they crafted 3D cubes like pros. Who knew newspapers had such volume? As the students measured and built, they found that volume wasn’t just something you turn up on the radio—it’s also the space inside their handmade cubes! By the end, the room was packed with ‘paper creations’, proving they were on a roll!
