Being Health Heroes

In Year 2, our students embarked on a journey to learn about different ways to stay healthy and look after their bodies. They explored the importance of staying hydrated, engaging in physical activity, being sun smart, getting enough sleep, eating a balanced diet, and maintaining good hygiene. Through hands-on experiences and practical lessons, our young learners gained valuable insights into leading a healthy lifestyle. After all, an apple a day keeps the doctor away, but learning all these tips makes it even better!

Pyjama, Crazy Hair and Rice Day

On Pyjama, Crazy Hair, and Rice Bowl Day, our Year 2 students brought a fun and meaningful twist to the school day! Dressed in their comfiest pyjamas and sporting wild hairstyles, they experienced what it’s like to have only one bowl of rice for the entire day. This special event raised awareness and funds for Lifelink, supporting children who receive just one bowl of rice daily.

In Year 2, our classroom turned into an action-packed adventure as vegetables were trapped by the villainous Evil Pea! As part of our Talk 4 Writing program, our students became heroes, devising clever plans to rescue the vegetables. This thrilling experience sparked creativity and imagination, leading to the creation of fantastic narratives about superheroes and villains. Through this exciting activity, our young writers crafted stories full of bravery and ingenuity.

We are proud of our children and all that they achieve and share with them a great pride in our school.

Buddies

In Term One, the Year 2 students teamed up with their Year 6 buddies for an enchanting Easter craft project! Together, they crafted adorable bunny ears, fostering friendships and spreading the spirit of togetherness this holiday season.

Harmony Day

On Harmony Day, our school was a kaleidoscope of cultures as students arrived dressed in their traditional cultural clothing! The campus buzzed with excitement as each outfit shared a unique heritage story, showcasing the beauty of diversity. It was a day filled with pride, unity, and celebration of the rich tapestry of cultures that enrich our school community!
