Eucharist Retreat
Students from our Year 4 & Year 5 class joined together for a day of retreat and reflection as they prepared to receive the Sacrament of Eucharist for the first time later in Term 4. The retreat was led by Sr Lisette from the Schoenstatt Shrine in Mount Richon and was a most enjoyable day as students learnt about the this special Sacrament while making candles, preparing wheat and learning about the vestments and vessels used in the Sacrament of Eucharist.

Eucharist Retreat
The Year 4 students were fortunate enough to visit the Schoenstatt Shrine to deepen their learning and prepare them for their First Holy Communion. Throughout the day, the children participated in activities that helped them understand the Sacrament and help them grow in their faith such as; candle making and practising receiving the host. The students were also given grain from Sister Lisette to help them prepare by emptying their hearts so they are ready to receive Jesus on their First Holy Communion Day.

Design and Technology
The Year 4 students have had a blast learning about the different materials used to create objects and the different forces used in order for each object to move. The students have been investigating different toys and finding out what materials were used and why and what forces are used in order for them to work.
We are proud of our children and all that they achieve and share with them a great pride in our school.

Book Week
This year we celebrated Book Week in Term 3. The Year 4s were very excited to dress up as their favourite character. Don’t they look fantastic! We were lucky enough to participate in a ‘Dreaming with your eyes open’ competition, where students were asked to write about their aspirations for themselves and the world. We were blown away by the compassionate dreams for the world.
